Current Reads Teen Summer Reading Club
Teens between the ages of 12 and 19, you have your very own summer reading club at all KCPL branches. Read or listen to book you like that's on your reading level. The rules are simple. During the program, check out materials from your local library, then fill out a paper entry form or log your entries on line at KCPL's website under "Current Reads."
Read or listen to a total of seven books and fill in the entry form to earn a prize. If you don't want to log your reads online, pick up an entry form at any KCPL location and turn it in when you've completed the program.
Once you log seven entries, you'll earn the choice of a water bottle or a monster stress squishy! You'll be notified by phone or email to pick up your prize. Everyone who completes the program wins!
The three people from each location who read the most books will receive a drawstring pack with built-in ear bud slot. One lucky reader will win a Kindle Fire provided by the Friends of The Library Foundation.
Check out the KCPL website for more information or our Facebook page at Kanawha County Public Library Teen Services, where you'll find additional information on Current Reads, as well as other teen programs.
