Charleston Daily Mail & Charleston Gazette

The newspapers are indexed back to 1985 by the papers. The News Library at the paper, the Kanawha County Public Library and the West Virginia Archives have the Gazette on microfilm back to 1914 and the Daily Mail back to 1924.

Goldenseal Magazine of West Virginia traditional life is published four times a year by the WV Division of Culture and History. The web site has information about the magazine and Kanawha County Public Library has copies of Goldenseal from 1975.

Graffiti Graffiti calls itself "West Virginia's News Alternative". Online version has news, commentary, reviews and schedules of activities for the cities and regions of the state.

State Journal Weekly publication dedicated to business and political news of West Virginia.

Wonderful West Virginia Monthly magazine published by the West Virginia Division of Natural Resources. Covers wide variety of subjects and features excellent photography.

WV - PBS West Virginia has three Public Television Stations that cover the state. They bring a mix of local and regional programming as well as programming from Public Television. Check local cable for channel.

KCS-TV Library Television Network Channel 17 on Suddenlink Cable Features a variety of public interest shows of community interest including a variety of shows about Kanawha County Public Library. Topics include books and reading, programs and other events at the library.
